Mary-Margaret Fox, BA
Mary-Margaret Fox is the Communications Coordinator at the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving (RCI) at Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW). In this role, she is responsible for all communications at RCI, increasing awareness of our caregiver support programs, utilizing social media to reach the target audience, disseminating monthly e-newsletters and quarterly newsletters, assisting with national summits, and updating website content.
Mary-Margaret is a graduate of Columbus State University (CSU) where she received a certificate in Social Media Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication – with a concentration in Public Relations. While attending CSU she was inducted to the Mu Nu Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association Honor Society. She also served as chapter president of CSU’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She was also very active in re-establishing CSU’s College Republicans organization, serving as vice-president her final semester.
During her time at CSU, Mary-Margaret was involved in many service-learning projects with several organizations in the Columbus, Georgia area, including – Fort Benning’s National Infantry Museum, the Muscogee Country School District and CSU. She also served as the public relations intern with Muscogee County’s Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy her senior year.
Mary-Margaret is an Americus native and graduate of Americus High School. Her time away from Americus was spent as a sixteen-year resident of Columbus, Georgia. Columbus gave her many wonderful memories and a chance to meet her future husband, Adam. Mary-Margaret is thrilled to be back in her hometown again and is enjoying all that small-town life has to offer. She is married to Adam Fox and together, they have 1 daughter, Piper.
Mary-Margaret enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, enjoying live music any chance she gets, and loves vacationing at the beach. She is also an avid sports fan and can be found cheering on her favorite Georgia teams – the Bulldogs, the Braves, and the Falcons.
