Disaster Preparedness for Caregivers
Take Control in 1, 2, 3: Disaster Preparedness Guide for Caregivers is a comprehensive guide to help the 105 million Americans who serve as family caregivers prepare themselves, and those they care for, for disaster. Developed in partnership with FEMA, RCI sought feedback from family caregivers to provide direct input, ensuring this guide is practical for individuals across the country.
Prepared Military Caregivers
Military caregivers often have unique needs as a result of their service member’s experience in war – that is especially true in times of disaster. RCI partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs to develop this toolkit to support caregivers of Veterans and the unique challenges they may face in times of disaster. This toolkit is designed to be fully customizable so that family caregivers can personalize their disaster plan to best fit their needs.
