AMERICUS, GA – The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving today released the Candidates on Caregiving policy tracker. This one-stop guide summarizes where the candidates running for President of the United States stand on caregiving, respite care and long-term care.
“Caregiving takes a lot of time, energy and dedication,” said Dr. Jennifer Olsen, executive director of RCI. “The same can be said for deciding which candidate running for President to support. Given the demands on a caregiver’s time, we hope this guide is helpful when they go to vote.”
The Candidates on Caregiving policy tracker will be updated through the election day in November.
“Often people are searching for a way to support caregivers,” continued Olsen. “It is helpful to remember, and consider, their needs when voting.”
