The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers Announces Partnership with the Friends of Jimmy Carter National Historic Park, focusing on the Rosalynn Smith Carter Childhood Garden

AMERICUS, GA (April 5, 2023) —The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers (RCI) announces a partnership with the Friends of Jimmy Carter National Historic Park, focusing on the Rosalynn Smith Carter Childhood Garden. The organizations represent two of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter’s passions: elevating the role of family caregivers for those who are aging, ill, or disabled, and a deep appreciation of nature.

The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers has formally merged with The Carter Center, now functioning under its Mental Health Program.
