The strength of the U.S. military is legendary, and at its heart is a strong structure of support. RCI supports the unsung heroes behind our heroes with a military-centered support program, which offers one-on-one coaching.
Webinars for Military Caregivers
RCI and Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) are continuing their partnership to support military and veteran caregivers. RCI is launching a four-part webinar series focused on caregiving issues and real-world solutions, providing tools caregivers can use throughout their journey. This program is powered by WWP to honor and empower post-9/11 injured service members, veterans, and their families.
2024 Schedule
Caregivers, Communication, and Hidden Helpers | Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 7 p.m. Eastern Time
During this webinar, RCI will walk caregivers of Veterans through healthy communication techniques to use with their care recipient as well as Hidden Helpers within the home. This webinar will feature RCI with special guest Sesame Street Workshop for Military Kids. By pairing RCI proven content with proven Sesame Street Workshop for Military Kids content, caregivers within the home can learn solid communication skills to discuss the many emotions that are experienced in the caregiving journey.
Caregivers will learn:
- What is healthy caregiver communication and skills to display.
- Understanding physical aspects of healthy communication.
- How to use Sesame Street Workshop for Military Kids materials to help Hidden Helpers.

Profiles of Resilience
RCI and Kennesaw State University’s Advancement of Military and Emergency Services (AMES) Center partnered on the Profiles of Resilience project. This project interviewed over 10 military and veteran caregiver families, where they shared their experiences and challenges, but most importantly celebrate the strength and resilience along their caregiving journey.
